Thankyou for sticking up for acetates! With all the No Plastic Sleeves propaganda going around I was starting to feel like an idiot with my (House Of Portfolios) book. I like to chop and change; maybe depending on the prospective client, and I too print on one-side paper; sure it may be a little nicer without the plastic but all in all sleeves just make a lot more sense.

PS: My lab uses the same logic with film scan file size...

The portfolio is std. Pino Zangaro "terra"- masonite with aluminum hinges. Got it at Sam Flax or AI Friedman. You can get them laser etched or colour stamped as well. I am in the process of finding out if they can etch my funky Eloquent into Masonite.

Kind of the clip board aesthetic.:)

That looks pretty great. If I may ask, where'd you get the actual cover for your portfolio? I was actually hoping to start making some books soon, and my girlfriend has actual book binding materials, but finding covers has been difficult (and easily ends up being the most expensive part most of the places you buy them, and even those look cheap).
